Habitat builds simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with low income families

Through donations of money and materials and the use of volunteer labour under trained supervision, Habitat builds and renovates homes with the help of the homeowner (partner) families.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that 1/3 of the world is underfed and 1/3 is starving.  In many cases food is available but people cannot afford to buy it.
